The years Sajó spent in Germany were followed by a trip to North
America in 1923, where he obtained his second degree in architecture
in 1926, from the Florida State University in Tallahassee. He first
established his own architectural office in Miami, and then co-founded
the Mediterranean Architect Studio with Roland Wank and Loránd
Berzőffy. From 1926 he worked for three years in New York-based
05 architectural teams, in which he contributed to the design of four
building complexes.
